Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ P.Sergelen, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry received S.V.Chepurnoi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mongolia on January 9. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of future cooperation in the fields of agriculture and light industry.
For instance, a plan of activities to implement in the bilateral food and agricultural sector by the ministries in charge of food and agriculture of the two nations for 2016-2018 was touched on. The plan was concluded on March 2016 by the first session of the intergovernmental commission between the government of Mongolia and Belarus in Ulaanbaatar.
The dignitaries also exchanged views on possibilities on procurement with easy-terms of agricultural equipment from Belarus by Mongolian business enterprises and individuals engaged in the agricultural industry. In conclusion, the Minister of Agriculture and the Belarusian Ambassador agreed to hold the fourth session of Mongolian-Belarusian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation next March in Minsk city, Belarus.
