Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Finance of Mongolia and World Bank launched an Export Development Project on March 24. The project is aimed to help small and medium-sized enterprises in non-minerals sectors to strengthen their export capabilities and boost their access to export markets.

In spot trade, Commercial banks bid weighted average rate of MNT2451.34 for USD6.1 million, asked weighted average rate of MNT2462.30 for USD20.5 million and bid weighted average rate of MNT351.28 for CNY43.0 million respectively.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Steel ball manufacturing plant was opened at Darkhan Metallurgical Plant on January 28. The plant manufactures steel balls with 100-140 mm diameter by forging method and within this year, steel balls with 60-80 mm diameter will be manufactured using casting method.
