On March 16, Women’s Diplomatic Club at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in collaboration with the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association organized an event to present and promote Mongolian wool and cashmere products to the foreign diplomatic missions in Ulaanbaatar.

Within the framework, delegates of the foreign diplomatic missions visited the factory of “Evseg” company, which was followed by "Elegant Cashmere” fashion show to showcase the new collections for Spring 2017. The wives and daughters of foreign diplomats working in Mongolia participated in the fashion show as models.

The fashion show took place in the scope of the government's program, which is soon to be approved with an aim to increase the export of cashmere and wool products by 1.5-2 times.

The Women’s Diplomatic Club was founded in 1998 as a non-governmental organization. The NGO held the event in accordance to the 20th anniversary of the club, which is to be marked in March 2018.
