Having staged in a new style, the Nutcracker ballet has become one of the unique pieces of ballet art of Mongolia. Over 30 years passed since the ballet was staged for the first time in the Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet under the name “Shelkunchik” directed by a Russian famous producer Petipa.

Aglag Buteel monastery with unique stone carvings has been built recently and work is still undergoing. The monastery is situated about 100 km to the west of Ulaanbaatar city at a beautiful valley with trees and big stones and hills near the place called Daliin Am in the territory of Bornuur soum, Tuv province. Every year thousands of mongolians and foreigners are visiting this place as a tourists or for religious purposes.

The Mongolian folk  band “Arga Bileg” has been nominated for the 58th Grammy Awards with their album “Agula”.
The Arga Bileg band presents jazz music in a traditional, Mongolian folk context using traditional Mongolian and western music instruments to create new compositions.
