Mongolia has started exporting a home-made calcium preparation named ‘Aduu’ (literal meaning: horse) to the Republic of Korea and Japan. This is a brainchild of chemist D.Demberelnyambuu and product of ‘Monchemo’ LLC.
An Inner Mongolian scholar is awarded a highest prize of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. The “Khubilai Khaan” golden medal is presented to Professor B.Gerelt in recognition of his contribution to the development of medical sector of Mongolia.
Law on promoting youth development drafted
The Government of Mongolia has drafted a new law on promoting youth development. It will be presented to the Parliament shortly.
According to statistical data, by the end of 2015, nearly 43 % of the total population of Mongolia was young people aged from 16 to 40.
Once the bill is passed by the legislature, the Mongolian government will implement a national program on promoting youth development.
Prime Minister Mr J.Erdenebat and Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Mr J.Batsuuri handed over “The Natural and Social Sciences Award” to academician Mr D.Batsuren for his research work themed “Unique principle of synthesis of secondary Metabolites in Medicinal Herbs of Mongolia and a Potential New Agent for Curing Cancers”. Mr Batsuren received MNT 100 million cash prize.

The Civil Aviation Authority has announced a constant state of readiness due to the approaching passage of cold air mass from the North Pole through Mongolia. Because the polar air mass is entering Mongolia on the 18th of November, with a high risk of causing weather emergencies, the Authority resolved to work in a well-built preparedness for emergencies until the month of February.
