“Eternal friendship” exhibition
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in association with the Association of Mongolian Photographers has opened a photo exhibition with the name “Eternal friendship”. Dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties
between Mongolia and Russia the exhibition is displaying archival documents and historical photos featuring the history of bilateral relations.
Ger presented to the Oriental museum
The Mongolia’s Ambassador to Russia Ms B.Delgermaa has presented a traditional Mongolian ger (traditional dwelling) to the State Museum of Oriental Art of the Russian Federation. “It was our desire to build Mongolian yurt in a courtyard of the Oriental museum to show it to Moscow people. We are very grateful to Ambassador who made our dream come true” says Mr Alexander Sedov, the Director General of the State Museum of Oriental Art.
Students of “Friendship” Chinese-language school received uniforms
In connection with China’s Independence Day which is celebrated on the 1st of October, the Council of Chinese Nationals, who reside in Mongolia alongside with the China-Mongolia Culture and Education Foundation have gifted uniforms and school belongings to the students of the “Friendship” Chinese-language school in Sukhbaatar district of Ulaanbaatar. This school was established in 1964.
First snow in UB
Yesterday, the first flakes of snow for this winter fell in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city which enjoys well-defined four seasons. On a winter day with large snow flakes, different kind of cultural events were organized for children and youth. Today, the air temperature in UB is about 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.
