Amarsanaa Becomes Professional-Amateur Champion of Muay Thai

Ulaanbaatar, March 21, 2024. /MONTSAME/. The International Thai Martial Arts Games & Festival – 2024 was held for the 6th time at Saphan Hin Stadium in Phuket, Thailand, on March 10-17, 2024.


Mongolian Muay Thai Champion Amarsanaa Tserenkhand topped the podium at the International Thai Martial Arts Games & Festival – 2024 by defeating all his opponents in the -57 kg category in Muay Boran (ancient boxing) and became the Professional-Amateur Champion of the World Muay Thai Organization (WMO).


In March 2023, Amarsanaa won the Amateur Champion title of the WMO Muay Boran in Ayutthaya, Thailand. He surpassed this achievement by earning the Professional-Amateur Champion title of WMO, demonstrating his potential as a rising athlete.


Ts. Amarsanaa posted on his Facebook timeline, “I sincerely thank my brothers, sisters, teachers, coaches, family, and friends who have supported me in achieving this success. I will strive harder to elevate Mongolia's reputation in the world."
